I typically enjoy using diffused light, but sometimes the scene offers incredible sunlight and you have to take advantage of what's right there in front of you. That's exactly what happened when Kevin and I hit downtown Clayton for lunch. The sun was hidden behind the clouds. But then, just in time to get a few shots, the sun peaked from behind the clouds and left a beam of light across our scene. I take those moments as fate and shoot them when I come across them. Needless to say, that's what I did here. Check out some of my favorite black and white images below. Oh, and don't forget to check Kevin out on Instagram. He's an incredibly talented actor, singer, dancer... the guy's going places.
