Shooting an Everyday Carry Video

I’ve been dabbling in more and more videography work. It’s not really a newfound interest though. I actually started out in college as a documentary filmmaking major, only to be swayed by an admissions representative that suggested it would be odd to double major in videography and writing. Nevertheless, I’m back playing around with video work and this new video is my latest effort.

I decided to use the resort my wife and I were staying in to shot the video. I tried to keep it simple since I didn’t want to carry a ton of gear with me. Everything is shot with the Nikon D800 and Sigma 24-70mm f2.8. I used a Cinevate silder to get the opening shot, but decided to go with still shots for everything else.
