Winter in Missouri can be brutal. Worse of all, you can think it's over and then get hit with a snow storm moments after the first flowers bloom. Nevertheless, there is fun to be had in the winter, particularly with studio photography sessions. And what makes things even better is when you get to work with model, Theresa Klein, and make up artist, Ashley Crosby.
Together, these two were a force to be reckoned with. We used two lights the entire shoot. One was a six foot parabolic reflecting umbrella with a single layer of diffusion. The second light alternated between a gridded soft box and a bare speed light. Altogether, I think the results have been incredible. Everything was edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.
