Since moving to Washington, D.C., I’ve had the pleasure of shooting images for Common Good City Farm. I’ve covered a number of events for them over the course of my time in the city and when they asked me to photograph their volunteer workday, I lathered up the sunscreen and hit the farm. Although I didn’t get dirty, the passionate volunteers were literally digging in to get work down. From weeding to watering, these folks were there to make a meaningful difference for the farm and it was obvious. Check out some of the images I captured while at the farm.
